How to get around Barcelona?

The metro is one of the most widely used means of transportation in Barcelona as it is the fastest, most comfortable, and safest way to get around. The TMB metro network reaches all neighborhoods and tourist attractions. It also offers very extensive operating hours.

The nearest metro stations to the apartment are: Urquinaona (L1, L4), Paseo de Gracia (L3), Plaza Catalunya (L1, L3), Tetuán (L2), and Girona (L4).

Operating Hours

From Monday to Thursday and on weekday holidays: from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Fridays and the day before holidays: from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM

Saturdays: starting at 5:00 AM, continuous service through the night until Sunday

Where to buy tickets

In the vestibule of all metro stations, you will find vending machines where you can purchase tickets and passes with a card. Additionally, at TMB information and customer service points, you can also purchase transport passes.

You also have the option to buy your pass at tobacco shops, kiosks, lottery and betting shops, as well as other integrated fare system operators.
